One thing that sets Sunstall apart is its approach to training.
Most companies onboard you with a few Zoom calls, a handbook, and maybe a slide deck from a past project. As a new Assistant Project Manager(APM) at Sunstall, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Most APMs in office-based roles don’t typically head straight to the field. But Sunstall does something different. They bring you to the heart of the work.
As railroads intersect countries and connect cities, they offer a unique opportunity for energy generation. Vertical bifacial solar systems are well-suited to turn these corridors into high-efficiency, low-footprint power sources—without interfering with train operations or requiring additional land.
Sunstall is proud to celebrate the completion of its 100th solar project in collaboration with Coldwell Solar and OMCO Solar – a significant milestone highlighting the strength and consistency of a long-standing partnership.
Solar energy systems are evolving — not just in what they’re made of, but in how and where they’re installed. One innovative approach gaining attention is the use of vertical bifacial solar panels placed along the sides of irrigation canals.
At Sunstall, we help bring such systems into reality with mounting and engineering solutions — and with our product Sunzaun, we offer a purpose-built vertical PV solution that’s ideal for these kinds of applications. Read more
“You can’t do that, it’s a man’s job” This is a sentence that you unfortunately still hear often enough in these enlightened times. But no woman should let such statements stop her from exploring what opportunities she has.
As we wrap up another inspiring Annual Supervisor Event, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible discussions, team-building moments, and strategic planning that shaped our gathering. This year’s event was all about learning from the past, setting a vision for the future, and strengthening the bonds that make our team exceptional.
Supervisors from across our organization came together for an intensive and engaging summit. The event officially kicked off with fresh energy and enthusiasm as we embarked on a journey of reflection and innovation.
For almost 15 years, we have been dedicated to advancing the solar industry—an achievement we celebrated in style at Sun-spired with 120 guests, great food, music, and an unforgettable fire show. The evening was filled with gratitude, inspiring conversations, and a heartfelt farewell to one of our founders and owners, whose vision helped shape our journey. It was a night of reflection, celebration, and excitement for the future—thank you to everyone who made it so special!
For almost 15 years, we have been giving our best every day to improve the world of the solar industry. This milestone called for a celebration with our customers, suppliers, and friends!
And what a night it was! Sun-spired brought together an incredible mix of long-time partners, valued suppliers, loyal customers, close friends, and our dedicated team. It was more than just a party – it was a gathering of like-minded individuals who shared the same vision: a sustainable future powered by the sun.
In 2020, during my studies in mechanical engineering with a focus on renewable energy at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik, I participated in a project that would unknowingly shape the next few years of my life. The project, part of the “Project Management and Business Planning” module, centered around exploring use cases and business models for vertical ground-mounted solar systems in the United States.
Growing up in Germany with a German mother and an American father, I often wondered what life would have been like if my parents had decided to move to the U.S. Instead, we visited the U.S. every couple of years for a few weeks to spend time with family. As I got older, I realized that having dual citizenship and a deep understanding of American culture opened up many opportunities for me.
Living in the USA is a lifelong dream for many people and it was mine too. Thanks to Sunstall, I was able to take that step.
