Welcome Fabian and Tim!

Tim and Fabian from Germany are joining us in October and will spend 12 months with us. They will support our project management and are eager to learn as much as possible about the U.S. , the solar market and project management!

Here is Tim:

“Hi! My name is Tim Basulto, and I will be the new intern at Sunstall starting this year in October. I grew up in Berlin, Germany. After graduating high school, I did a dual course of studies in mechanical engineering at BHT (Berliner Hochschule für Technik) in cooperation with Siemens Energy. During the semester breaks, I did an apprenticeship in industrial mechanics. For the last two during my bachelor’s studies, I specialized in renewable energies. This focus sparked my interest in the energy sector, project management, and technologies like photovoltaics and wind energy. Besides my professional aspirations, I am interested in hip hop music, economical and political topics, as well as sports, e.g. basketball and martial arts. After my last semester at university, I worked at the R&D department for large gas turbines at Siemens Energy for a year, where I did CAD for measurement systems and assisted in measuring data evaluations. For my bachelor thesis, I developed and rated explosion protection concepts for thermocouples.

For me, this internship at Sunstall Inc. represents my professional start in the renewable energy business. I am looking forward to learning all about photovoltaic systems, project management, and realizing solar projects. On a more personal note, I want to gain insight into the American work ethic and the Californian startup mentality as well as get to know people in San Francisco and the bay area. I am excited to meet the team, become a part of it, and have a successful internship at Sunstall!”

See what Fabian wants to share:

I come from South Baden, Germany. I am highly motivated to broaden my professional experience during this internship, to meet great colleagues and exchange experiences as well as to contribute to the team in the accomplishment of tasks.I would like to gain knowledge about the American business culture and grow with the tasks at hand so that I can share my knowledge later.

Good luck and have fun!
