In Mocksville, NC, a new project unfolds. Teaming up with Hep Petra, a German company, the venture goes beyond solar energy. Hep Petra’s mission, “For us, our work is about more than solar. We are committed to three fundamental values: sustainability, innovation, and community,” guides their efforts. We installed a 9.8 MW single-axis tracker system, made by Schletter, also a German company. This is the first of its kind in the US.
Refusals and drilling holes
During our pile driving process, we faced unexpected refusals due to the hard ground. The soil’s density proved tougher than we anticipated, causing repeated setbacks. Despite the challenge, we adapted our approach, using specialized equipment to navigate the tough terrain. Our determination drove us to find solutions, ensuring we could overcome this unexpected obstacle and continue our progress efficiently.
