Empowering a Community Through Clean Energy
Feather Falls Casino, operated by the Mooretown Rancheria of Maidu Indians, serves as a major cultural and economic center for the region. With this solar project, the Tribe is making a long-term investment in energy self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship. The 4.57 MW OMCO fixed-tilt system reflects a broader vision: to strengthen the Tribe’s independence, reduce reliance on the grid, and create lasting operational savings. It’s a strategic move that not only supports sustainable development, but also sets an example for other tribal and regional enterprises.
Sunstall was entrusted with the full mechanical scope of the project—from precise pile layout and racking assembly to module mounting and quality assurance. Our team dedicated 4,600 labor hours to the installation, ensuring each phase met the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. Challenging site conditions in Oroville required smart logistics and experienced crews—but through careful coordination with other site stakeholders, the project stayed on schedule and on target.
